  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Joanne Fusilli -- Touch your heart and soul : Reading "What I Know" by Laura Wiktorek made me feel that the author was sitting in my home talking directly to me. Because of this easy reading, I started reading the book the evening I purchased and finished the next morning. I actually felt as though I was in Laura's body and going through her grief with her. I also felt a strong connection with her family, especially her son Michael. I know this book will definitely help so many people contemplating suicide and people who are grieving due to a loved ones loss to suicide. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Del -- Revelatory : The story was poignant. Laura painted the story in very meaningful details. Her intent was clear and driven by purely altruistic reason to help recognize and acknowledge when help is needed. I’m hopeful that her story will and can save lives… ( Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Ellen -- Beautifully written : as it validated the emotions and behaviors surrounding PTSD. I applaud Laura for sharing her personal story with such openness and honesty. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from donald w owen -- Touched My Soul : I read Laura's book with tears streaming down my face. It had been so long since I cried and I found myself being negative and angry and in general feeling like a victim. After the last page, I felt the desire to reach out and help, in any way I could,to spare just one person the pain that suicide can bring on. I was able to forgive myself for the loss of my granddaughter's father and more importantly get the help I need to not repeat the act. Thank you, Laura. You saved MY life. I love you. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Dot -- Told from the heart : This subject is so difficult to address and Laura has written this book with so much love for her family and for all veterans. I would recommend it to everyone. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Annette F. Murphy -- Awareness is essential for change : This memoir is such a raw, honest, tender, gut-wrenching, introspective, and instructive compilation of Laura's deeply personal tragedy and her resolve to honor her son, Michael's life. She uses her pain for a higher purpose by creating awareness of, and being a voice for those, who suffer in silence struggling with PTSD. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Jenna Boyter -- Powerful book that could help save a life. : This book was so special to read. I was able to hear some of these stories from Laura in person but being able to read this book was such an honor. I had tears in my eyes through most of it. It was written with love and I hope it ends up touching many lives. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2021 )
